feral child, 2015

an experimental photo essay dealing with anonymous portraiture, urban decay, vulnerability, and alternative living. exploring themes of forgotten youth, body positivity vs. insecurity, resistance vs. acceptance, and lost innocence. identity is subverted in the shadows of an underpass, competing with underground cultures hungry for rebellious visibility. can a child survive? where does adolescence live when one is coerced into adulthood? how does one organically arive in such a place?
